To Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus:

As a parent and concerned citizen, I want to stand up for children whose bodies and lives are being destroyed at Australia’s gender clinics.

Children are being rushed into taking puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones and undergoing radical surgery to ‘transition’ – when what many really need is emotional support.

Biological sex can’t be changed by medicalisation and surgery. Telling children that it can be is a lie.

Children cannot make informed medical choices. And experimental treatments should not be used on healthy children.

So I’m asking you to protect and care for vulnerable children by calling for a Royal Commission into gender clinics.

A Royal Commission will allow better health outcomes for gender-dysphoric children and adults, and tell us whether the services provided at these clinics are legitimate and necessary.

Many clinics and trans activists have known the dangers all along. What else are they hiding?

So please take strong action to protect and care for vulnerable children by calling for a Royal Commission into Australia’s gender clinics.
